23/05/2021 – Posting a 223,0 24-year-old Italian Nico Sicuro piloted Dance Wimpy Spook [Wimpys Little Step, owner Quarter Dream SRL] in Cremona (IT) to the Futurity Champion title in the € 138.750 added IRHA L4 Open Futurity 2020 final for 3-year-old horses (4-year-old by now), taking a 3-point lead over the numbers 2. Italian Francesco Barbagli with Lil Jo Gunner [Lil Joe Cash, owner Jerzy Szumanski] between the reins and Guiseppe Prevosti on board of BH Walla Whiz On Top [Walla Walla Whiz, owner Ambrosini QH ASD] tied for 2nd place, both posting a 220,0. The Belgian NRHA Million Dollar Riders Cira Baeck, Ann Fonck and Bernard Fonck, being among the best in the world, lagged behind in terms of performance. Cira and Bernard tied for 9th place, both posting a 217,0. Cira riding Oak Lilith Sixtysix [Inferno Sixty Six, owner Maria Cecilia Fiorucci] and Bernard riding Face To Face [Pale Face Dunnit, owner Lenka Lukackova]. Posting a 216,0 Ann and Step N Past Ya [Wimpys Little Step, owner CS Ranch] placed 16th in the field of 22 entries. Without hitting the penalty box Bernard and his second mount Baby Gun Dun It [One Gun, owner Patricia Favoretto] posted a 207,5, placing 19th.
Besided the L4 co-reserve title Barbagli also claimed the € 37.500 added L3- en € 18.750 added L2 Futurity Champion title. Posting a 218,0 the L3 reserve title went to Capitain Sparked [Frozen Sailor, owner Giulia Rossi] ridden by Stefano Angelucci. Posting a 217,0 the L2 reserve title went to RTR Whizard Of Oak [My Showbiz Whiz, owner Massimiliano Rossi] ridden by Pierluigi Chioldo.
The L1 Futurity Champion title was granted to Great Gunna Whiz [Gunnatrashya, owner Valerie Zozin] ridden by Fabio Russo posting a 215,5. Posting a 214,5 PL Not Trashy [Gunnatrashya, owner Lucky Valley Ranch Petr Monik Julinovi] ridden by Czech Jonas Bujnock was granted reserve honors.
