DRHA starting up
08/07/2021 – The European show season is running at full speed, also in the Netherlands. Today the DRHA (Dutch Reining Horse Association) Reining Challenge 2021 kicked off at Reining Center Meertenhof in Grathem. The number of entries indicate that riders are ready to compete again; especially the Non Pro classes are challenging.
Remarkable this year is splitting the DRHA Any Horse / Any Rider class in an Open- and Non Pro division, but that decision has been carefully considered. The Any Horse / Any Rider class generally counts approximately 120 entries. It’s a hard job for one sole person judging the class then. By dividing the class into an Open- and Non Pro class, judges can switch chairs.
The DRHA Reining Challenge is scheduled up to and including Sunday July 11. Visit https://www.westernsport.tv/livestream to follow the action live.
