EC Quarter Horses 2021 in the books

17/08/2021 – Last Sunday, the 31st edition of the European Championship for Quarter Horses scheduled in the Ostbayernhalle in Rieden-Kreuth (GER) went into the books. Though various Dutch and Belgian combinations managed to qualify for the finals, the ‘medal harvest’ was poor. 3 Medals in total, but nevertheless all valuable though. The first medal was won by Fréderique de Kousemaeker in In Hand Trail for 3-years-old. Fréderique entered Angel In Dark, a daughter of One Hot Krymsun out of Congress Champion Angel Until Dark from Just Wait Until Dark. Angel in Dark is bred by Swiss Laura Kraack ant trained by Fréderique herself.
The other 2 medals were won in the Halter 3-year-old mares division. In the Open Class Barbara Ceusters won silver with In My Blood and in the Amateur class owner Nancy van Aken won bronze.
