Grischa Ludwig dominates Open Breeders Futurity 3-years-old
21/10/2021 – Posting a 222,5 and a 220,5 Grischa Ludwig (GER) took the lead in the preliminaries of the NRHA Germany L4 Open Breeders Futurity for 3-year-old horses concluded yesterday in the Ostbayernhalle in Rieden-Kreuth (DE). The 222,5 was marked with SL Gunnabeyournite [Gunners Special Nite] owned by Sandra Linnig -Föhl; the 220,5 with Shine My Picabo [Shine My Gun] owned by Alexandra Schmitz. A remarkable achievement was made by Arnaud Girinon (FRA), qualifying 3 horses for the L4 finals. With Heza Frozen Inferno [Inferno Sisty Six] owned by Società Agricola Le Fattorie di Matilde Girinon posted a 217,5; with Snappers Voodoo [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Klaus Tretter a 216,5; and with Lancelot Gun It [Hollywood Gun It] owned by van Ulrich Laudenklos a 215,5. Bernard Fonck (BEL) qualified 2 horses for the L4 finals. With GP The Stud In Town [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by van Golden Paint Ranch Fonck posted a 219,0 and with JJ Roosters Olaf [Ricochet Rooster] owned by Anthony Gianci a 215,0.
Both posting a 218,0, Sylvia Rzepka (GER) aboard AR Gunnaboy [Gunnatrashya] owned by AR Showhorses Rzepka & Aubruner and Stephan Rhode (GER) with Xtra Doo Little [ Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Katharina Völker between the reins took the lead in L3. Rhode also took the lead in L2.
In L1 it were Jeremy Ropert (FRA) and Jag Spatigun [Colonels Smoking Gun] owned by Aude Gruber taking the lead marking a 215,0.
Both Kris Hermus (NLD) and AK One Little Gun [One Gun] owned by AK Quarterhorses and Tom Calié (BEL) and Shine Hard [Shine Chic Shine] owned by Sarah Struys posted a 208,0 qualifying for both the L3- and L2 finals. Calié also got a ticket for the L1 finals.
