NRHA World Champion titles (unofficial)

26/11/2021 – Over the past years the excitement regarding the NRHA Top-10 standings was always an issue towards the end of the year. In Europe shows like the Rome Shoot In, American and Equitá Lyon played an important role given the huge amount of additional money involved. For years the European have been dominating the Top-10, but in 2020 this was not an issue due to the many cancelled events in relation to COVID-19. This year the European are back again. Consulting the current NRHA rankings, one could say with a 100% certainty the Ann Fonck (BEL) has piloted the 5-year-old gelding Shines Like Spook [Smart Spook] owned by Rosanne Sternberg to the Open World Champion title and Klaus Lechner (AUT) the 16-year-old stallion Cody Rooster Delmaso [Ricochet Rooster] owned by Julia Gaupmann to the Open Reserve World Champion title.
In the Intermediate Open division the same certainty counts for Tiara van Dongen (NLD) piloting the 12-year-old stallion Mr Gun Wr San Jo [San Jo Freckles] owned by Marleen Suttels to the World Champion title and Clemence Neveux (SUI) piloting the 10-year-old gelding Frankiegoestoholywod [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Thomas Soutric to the Reserve World Champion title.
With the same certainty Nikolai Stiller (GER) and the 9-year-old mare Hollywood Gunrunner [Gunner] are the Non Pro World Champions and Dries Verschueren (BEL) and the 8-year-old gelding Missedouttinseltown [Hollywoodstinseltown] the Non Pro Reserve World Champions.
Just waiting until it will be officially confirmed by NRHA.
