Halter medals at EC Quarter Horses

07/08/2023 – The Halter classes of the European Championship for Quarter Horses have been concluded yesterday in the Ostbayernhalle in Rieden-Kreuth (GER). Besides the already mentioned titles and gold medals for the 8-year-old gelding Dew Not Touch [A Touch Of Sudden] owned by Marjolijn Gray (NLD) in both the categories Performance Halter Geldings Open and -Amateur, the Belgian and Dutch entries claimed several other titles and medals.
Sarah de Weerd (NLD) presented Itsasouthernromance [Itasouthernimpulse] owned by Esther van de Grootheveen (NLD) in the category 3-year-old Geldings Open and claimed the Reserve Champion title and silver medal. In the category 3-year-old Geldings Amateur Esther did the same: Reserve Champion and silver. In the Amateur division Nancy van Aken (NLD) and Its A Goodbar Thing [Mechanic] claimed bronze. In the category Aged Geldings Open Barbara Ceusters (BEL) presented the 4-year-old Nobodyz Business [Its A Southern Thing] owned by Nancy van Aken and claimed the Reserve Champion title and silver. In the category Performance Halter Geldings Amateur Nancy herself claimed reserve honors and silver as well. In the category Performance Halter Mares Amateur Nancy and the 5-year-old mare In My Blood [Original Cowboy] claimed bronze.
