Anne colors NRHA Open Futurity pretty orange
25/11/2023 – The preliminaries of the $ 1.097.000 added NRHA Open Futurity for 3-year-old horses have been concluded yesterday in Oklahoma City (USA), counting 386 entries in total. Our eyes were focussed on one entry in particular: Dutch Anne Grether with t Dejavu All Overagain, aka Pablo, a son from Smart Spook out of Dun Its Deja Vu from Hollywood Dun It, owned by RS Reining Horses BV. Since April this year Pablo is under the care of Cira Baeck (BEL). At the end of October Anne paid a short visit to the USA to ‘practice a little bit’ with Pablo at the Southwest Reining Horse Futurity in Ardmore and practice usually pays off. By marking a 217,5 Anne placed 2nd in the $ 55.000 added L1 division, 9th in the $ 135.000 added L2 division, 29th in the $ 225.000 added L3 division and 57 in the $ 675.000 added L4 division, advancing to both the L1-, L2-, L3 and L4 halve semi-finals. All together Anne adds a very, very nice Dutch Touch to the NRHA Futurity.
Dutch Jimmy van der Hoeven qualified Winkle And Shine [Whiz Van Winkle x Shining A Whey] owned by Margaret McNamara for both the L4- and L3 semi-finals by marking a 217,0. The L1-, L2- and L3 semi-finals are scheduled for Monday November 27 (section 1) and Tuesday November 28 (section 2); the L4 semi-finals for Wednesday November 30.
