Gina Maria Schumacher qualifies 3 horses for L4 Futurity finals
29/11/2023 – The consolation round of the NRHA Non Pro Futurity has been concluded today in Oklahoma City (USA) end the complete entry field for the $ 369.500 added Non Pro finals is set. In the preliminaries for both the $ 175.000 added L4-, $ 100.000 added L3- and $ 55.000 added L2 division Kelsey Price (USA) and Let Err Rip [Magnum Chic Dream] took the lead posting a 220,0. Gina Maria Schumacher (GER) and Reining Royalty [Spooks Gotta Whiz] posted a 219,5 placing second. Schumacher advances with 3 horses to the L4 finals. With CS Tuned Guns [Colonels Shining Gun] she posted a 217,5 and with Greytest Showman [Lil Ruf Peppy] a 216,0. In L3 and L2 Dani Latimer (USA) with Snap My Crush [PS Mega Shine Chic] and Rylee Butler with SS Rock My World [Ruf Lil Magnum] tied for 2nd place both posting a 217,5. In the $ 30.000 added L1 division they took the lead. George Sternberg (GBR) and Pale Moonlight [Pale Face Dunnit] posted a 208,5 in the preliminaries advancing directly to the L1 final; Sarah Ehrenreich (GER) and Spooks Codette [Spooks Gotta Whiz] obtained their ticket in the consolation round by posting a 209,5.
In the youth division it was Addisyn Schmersal taking the lead by marking a 219,0 with Vintage Attitude [A Sparkling Vintage]. Emma Vanlandingham and Diamond Handz [Dun It For Whizkey] placed 2nd marking a 218,0.
Scheduled concurrent with the preliminaries of the NRHA Non Pro Futurity was the $ 6.000 added Non Pro Chrome Cash competition, only eligible for American Paint Horse entries. Gina Maria Schumacher and Reining Royalty claimed the title; Schmersal and Vintage Attitude placed 2nd.
The Non Pro finals are scheduled for Friday December 1. The 1st place in L4 is rewarded with $ 75.000, 2nd place with $ 45.000 and 3rd place with $ 35.000. The 1st place in L3 with is rewarded with $ 40.000, the 2nd place with $ 25.000 and the 3rd place with $ 15.000.
