26/01/2023 – Looking back at 2022, there are many success stories to tell. Some riders though have been extreme successful. One of them is the 25-year-old Swiss Gina Maria Schumacher, spending most of her time nowadays at the XCS Ranch in Texas.
In 2006 Gina Maria added the first $ 85 in NRHA earnings to her record as a 9-years-old at the Swiss Slide in the category Youth13 & Under. The following years the total in earnings kept on increasing swiftly.
In 2022 Gina Maria crossed the magic NRHA $ 1 Million milestone in NRHA earnings, being the very first European Non Pro rider to achieve the NRHA One Million Dollar Rider status. Some of the achievements in 2022 and the earning related to them that brought the magic milestone into reach are the Cactus Reining Classis L4 Non Pro Derby Reserve Champion title; de NRHA Derby L4 Non Pro Reserve Champion title and the NRHA European Affiliate Championship Non Pro Champion title. And to finish 2022 in style, the brand new Million Dollar Rider claimed the NRHA L4 Non Pro Futurity co-Champion title aboard the 3-year-old gelding Gunnin For The Nite [Gunnatrashya].
But the success story does not end here yet. Gina Maria is also leading the NRHA Non Pro Top 10 2022 rankings.
