27/06/2021 – By posting a 226,5 Trevor Dare piloted the 5-year-old stallion Jerseys Baby Driver [Yellow Jersey] owned by Janice Laney with 3,5 points ahead of the numbers 2 to the title in the finals of the NRHA L4 Open Derby concluded yesterday in Oklahoma City (USA). 4 Combinations tied for 2nd place: The 4-year-old stallion Down Right Amazing [Gunner] owned by DAG Ventures LLC and ridden by Casey Deary, the 6-year-old mare Americas Supermodel [Walla Walla Whiz] owned by Whitmarsh Arcese Partnership] and ridden by Deary as well, the 5-year-old stallion Starjac Vintage [A Sparkling Vintage] owned by Tim Anderson and ridden by Andrea Fappani and the 6-year-old stallion Gunnarickashay [Gunnatrashya] owned by Puno Performance Horses LLC and ridden by Josh Tishman. Tishman also claimed the L3 title. Again there was a tie for 2nd place. Both Italian Francesco Martinotti and American Jordan McBurney marked a 221,0. Martinotti with the 5-year-old stallion Smoking Trash [Gunnatrashya] owned by Enjoy LLC between the reins and McBurney with the 7-year-old stallion No Mans Whizkey [Whizkey N Diamonds] owned by Rhodes River Ranch under the saddle.
L2 was concluded in a co-Championship between 3 combinations marking a 218,0: Swedish Fredrik Thomsson with the 5-year-old stallion Nitely [Gunners Special Nite] owned by P Js Invest LLC, American Debbie Brown with the 4-year-old mare Pale Black Moon [Pale Face Dunnit] owned by Jennifer Greenleaf and American Franky Vasquez with the 5-year-old gelding Whizin Off With Guns [Tinker With Guns] owned by Bethanie Penning. Vasquez also claimed the L1 title. With the score 216,5 L1 reserve honors were for the 7-year-old stallion Xtra Magic Doctor [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Janice Laney and ridden by Brazilian Lucio Pontes Casalecchi.
