Jody Fonck surprisingly strong at NRHA EAC
01/08/2021 – Belgian youth rider Jody Fonck can look back with pride on her participation at the NRHA European Affiliate Championship concluded yesterday at the Tuse Creek Ranch in Regstrup (DEN).
In the Limited Non Pro class (46 entries) the 14-year-old piloted the 12-year-oild mare Chic Chic Hoorah [Smart Spook] to the co-Champion title posting a 216,0. The second co-Chhampion was Swedish Sara Nordin with the 9-year-old gelding Chex Little Legend. Posting a 215,0 Finish Elena Wuorimaa and the 8-year-old gelding One Last Nite [Gunners Special Nite] placed third. Belgian Silke Hendrix (BEL) and her 7-year-old mare AM Lil Birdy Gun [Colonels Shining Gun] just missed their spot on the stage with a 214,0.
The Youth 14-18 class (16 entries) was decided in a co-Championship as well. Both German Freya Waida and Danish Nicoline Andersen marked a 215,0. Waida with the 9-year-old gelding Smart SS Spook BB [Smart Spook] between the reins and Andersen aboard of the 7-year-old mare This Dun Is Spaton [Spat Olena]. With both Chic Chic Hoorah and the 6-year-old gelding HR Spooks Revolution [Spooks Gotta Whiz] Jody marked a 214,5 tying with both horses for third place.
In the Non Pro class (16 entries) Jody and HR Spooks Revolution took the lead by marking a 218,0. Marking a 216,0 reserve honors went to Norwegian Anniken Nystrøm Holth and her 4-year-old mare Eineyswhiz [Einsteins Revolution]. Austrian Julia Gaupmann and the 11-year-old stallion Tinseltownsmokingun [Gunner] and Nordin and Chex Little Legend tied for third place both posting a 214,0.
