Lenthel upholds the honor for Belgium at EC
13/08/2023 – The European Championship for Quarter Horses scheduled at the Ostbayernhalle in Rieden-Kreuth (GER) have been concluded today. Though several Dutch and Belgian combinations had qualified to enter either one or more of the many finals, the medals kept out of sight. Only Youth rider Lenthel Desmedt upholded the honor for Belgium. In the finals Hunter under Saddle Youth Lenthel piloted the 13-year-old gelding Bandedo Dancer [Hotroddin Invitation] owned by Meinou de Ruijter to the Reserve Champion title and silver. With De Ruijter herself in the saddle Bandedo Dancer was unbeatable in 2018 and 2019. One international title after the other was claimed and in the international media De Ruijter was imposed the predicate ‘Queen of Hunter’.
In the finals Hunt Seat Equitation Youth Lenthel claimed bronze with Hot Boy Gone Lazy.
