30/10/2021 – Yesterday was a rainy day for a few Dutch and Belgian entries at Equitá Lyon (FRA). Meaning qua titles. The program was offering the NRHA € 10.000 added Open- (10 entries), NRHA € 5.000 added Intermediate Open- (15), NRHA € 410 Limited Open- (21), NRHA Prime Time Open (0) and € 3.250 added APHA Open class (3), all scheduled class in class. The Non Pro division was offering the NRHA € 2.000 added Intermediate Non Pro- (30) and NRHA Prime Time Non Pro (6) class, also scheduled class in class.
By posting a 223,5 Ann Fonck (BE) and the 5-year-old gelding Shines Like Spook [Smart Spook] owned by Rosanne Sternberg claimed the title in the NRHA Open class. Tiara van Dongen (NLD) and the 12-year-old stallion Mr Gun WR San Jo [San Jo Freckles] owned by Marleen Suttels posted a 221,5 claiming both the NRHA Intermediate Open- and NRHA Limited Open title. With the 7-year-old mare Wimpy Special Gun [One Gun] owned by Catharina Smetsers, Van Dongen also claimed the title in the APHA Open class by posting a 208,0.
Ingrid Vermeiren (BEL) and the 12-year-old stallion Spook N Ruff [Smart Spook] posted a 213,0, settling for reserve honors in the NRHA Intermediate Non Pro class. Adrienne Speidel (SUI) and the 9-year-old mare ARC Walla Smart [Walla Walla Whiz] claimed the title. With the 9-year-old mare Colonels Ruffs Mercy [Gunner] Vermeiren tied for 3 place together with Aniek Hagelaars (NLD) and the 6-year-old mare Shes All Shining [Its All About Smart], both marking a 212,0.
In the Prime Time class both the title and reserve title were claimed by Vermeiren.
